Boom to Bust Theme

The theme is called - Boom to Bust. The boom is when a team is on the rise to a championship and the bust is when the team takes that downhill turn. To qualify for this theme your franchise needs to have a boom year that is .500 or worse or a bust year that fits the same criteria. The boom/bust years are 1-2 years before reaching the big game.

A great example of this would be my NY Giants franchise. In 1963 they lost the NFL Championship to the Chicago Bears. 1964 was a bust year for them as well as 1965. In '64 they won only 2 games and in '65 the finished .500. 1961 and 1962 do not qualify as "Boom" years since they went to the NFL Championship games in both season.
