‘56 Browns 21, ‘94 Bills 20

EdModz Fans at Cleveland Municipal Stadium were treated to a double-feature when the Buffalo Bills time-warped their way onto the sidelines opposite the hometown Browns.

The mortified ticket-holders watched in horror as Buffalo's Andre Reed led a first-half onslaught and the Bills grabbed a 20-0 halftime lead. Yet, the Browns responded with three second-half touchdowns and held Buffalo in check in a 21-20 triumph.

Cleveland's winning points (an Ed Modzelewski 7 yard run) came with nearly four minutes on the clock, but the Browns were able to keep Buffalo from getting into Steve Christie's field-goal range. Christie, who had opened the scoring with a 55-yard field goal, was warming up for a winning kick in the final minute. On fourth-and-10 at midfield, Buffalo quarterback Jim Kelly's final pass came up two yards short and the Browns kneeled down for the victory.
